FAVOURITE RACING CIRCUIT & WHY
Aldo Scribante in Port Elizabeth. It’s my home circuit where I have enjoyed much success. The circuit is very technical and challenging and has a little bit of everything. Also always good to race in front of your home fans, with much support from Port Elizabeth!
HOW YOU GOT STARTED IN MOTORSPORT
I started karting when I was 8 years old. My dad was involved in motorsport so it runs in the family.
EARLIEST RACING/CAR MEMORIES
Karting, GP Juniors winning the regional championship. In 2000, racing a saloon car at Aldo Scribante for the first time with success which opened many doors for my racing career in circuit racing.
SCARIEST RACING INCIDENT
Rolling a Polo at the end of the straight in PE, 2002. Plus 2018 Kyalami when a competitor’s car brakes failed and hit me at high speed!
MOST NOTABLE RACING VICTORIES
2011, winning at Zwartkops Raceway when the odds were against us to take my first Production Car Championship (and becoming the 1st driver in production cars class A to win three SA championships in a row. Winning the inaugural GTC race and championship in 2016.

Ayrton Senna
IF YOU HAD A CHOICE TO RACE IN ANY CATEGORY, WHICH WOULD IT BE?
DTM or Supercars Championship in Australia
